Mikey starts work tomorrow. I'm never going to see him again!!! :-( Ok, maybe the weekends but still, sadness. We've been so spoiled these last 2 months. We've spent practically every second together and I've loved it! Jocelyn is such a daddy's girl. When I take her anywhere alone after 30 minutes she's asking to go home and see her daddy. This is so sad for both of us. We love you Mikey and we miss you just thinking about it. Good luck!

Bridalveil Falls
We went to Yosemite this past weekend and had a blast!! It's our last Hoorah before Mikey starts work....this Monday!! The big thing we did was hike Half Dome. That was such a crazy hike. We forgot a backpack so we stopped by this discount store right before you get into Yosemite and the only one they had was a bright pink one. Mikey got so much gruff from every guy hiking, it was so funny.
Anyway we went up Mist trail that takes you past the waterfalls and it's basically the stairstepper for 4 1/2 hours up and a knee killer for 4 hours down! We were so hurting when we got back to the hotel. And to top it off Mikey passed a kidney stone that night! As if he wasn't in enough pain already!!! He was writhing on the bathroom floor throwing up from the pain! Poor guy. Besides that we had a great time!

So we put an offer on this house. Don't worry guys it's only $675,000!!! Can you believe it??!! Three bedroom 2 1/2 bath, 1600 sq/ft built in 1957. I know, it makes me want to throw up too, and that's cheap for the area (Walnut Creek). It's a good price because it's a short sale. But because of that, it is going to take a long time for it to go through, and is quite likely not going to go through at all. If it doesn't go through, the house goes into forclosure so the bank can sell it for more money. It's a somewhat confusing, LONG process. We are crossing our fingers, though! This is all the more frustrating since my mom is house hunting in the El Dorado Hills area and can get a house built in 2003, 2700 sq/ft for under $500,000!!!Posted by Jessica at 9:14 PM 14 comments
